Description

It’s time to implement a truly upstream approach to behavioral healthcare by leveraging human innovation and expertise, technology, and public-private partnerships to bring a preventative population health model to mental health services. By engaging youth early, prior to clinical mental health treatment or hospitalization, we can flip the script on mental health care! Preventative action is more important than ever; with a large-scale mental health crisis and a serious provider shortage, care is limited for those in need. We must start upstream and allow access to evidence based preventative services for all youth. We invite you to join an expert panel comprising individuals with extensive experience and knowledge spanning school district leadership and youth prevention, behavioral health science, psychiatry, and large-scale public health. Together, they will delve into the current state of mental health and wellbeing in the United States, exploring how technology, innovation, and collaboration can shape our future possibilities.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • Explore the science and research behind digital behavioral health interventions and how technology can be leveraged to bring a population health approach to preventative mental healthcare.
  • Gain an understanding of the concept of Brain Capital and the large-scale implications of investing in preventative, proactive mental healthcare on society.
  • Learn from real life examples of how public-private partnerships can increase access for youth, reduce stigma, and improve outcomes by utilizing data driven technology and innovation in the behavioral health space.
