Dr. Stephanie Chiang joined Sutter/Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group 17 years ago as a General Pediatrician. Despite starting her career as a reluctant leader, she has since learned that she enjoys working to continuously improve patient care and the day-to-day joy of work and wellbeing of her colleagues through process improvement and building relationships with each other. She has held multiple leadership roles over the past 15 years and currently serves as Medical Director for General Pediatrics, with oversight of 20 clinics and 180 pediatricians in the Bay Area. In addition, Stephanie serves as a member of the PAFMG Board of Directors.
Stephanie’s current projects include behavioral health integration, in-basket
stabilization, team-based care, increasing vaccination rates, and the rapid growth of our pediatric clinics.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys reading, puzzling, watching her 3 boys play sports,
and training their dog Ollie.
