Katie’s history of leadership features a dual-focus perspective in promoting member education and spearheading action to impactfully achieve enterprise results. She is also a true safety services program champion. As President of the Wisconsin Safety Council, she led the chapter in earning five national awards for excellence in service execution, training, and revenue generation.
Katie’s current focus at the Florida Chamber is on integrating initiatives from the six-year Strategic Plan into existing priorities, programs, and entities to ensure seamless execution, while maintaining brand integrity. This includes launching of a state-wide Safety Council, with elements such as a comprehensive study of Florida’s current safety status, private and public organizational safety training programs, a state-wide annual safety conference, expansion of The Institute for a Safer Florida, and development of a Florida Chamber Leadership Cabinet on Safety, Health and Sustainability.
