Description

Over half of therapists have experienced burnout in the past year, according to a SimplePractice survey. A leading cause of burnout for practitioners is administrative tasks (55%) and those who accepted insurance were two times as likely to report administrative tasks as a huge contributor to burnout.

Therapists are needed now more than ever. As an industry, we need to find ways to not only
reduce burnout but eliminate the longstanding roadblocks between practitioners and health
plans.

This panel will discuss the misconceptions providers have about payors and vice versa –
examining the fraught relationship and creating an open dialogue on how to solve the
challenges that exist. Attendees will learn:

  • Tools needed for payors to best collaborate with providers
  • Changes made within the payor landscape to meet the needs of clinicians
  • How SimplePractice is laying the groundwork for better connection between payors and independent practitioners
